Mindy the Cat and the Elizabethan Collar
Cats are kind of strange.

I guess this will come as a surprise to absolutely nobody. For people who don't much care for cats, it probably goes a long way toward explaining why they... well, don't much care for cats. And for those of us who inexplicably do like the fuzzy little maniacs, I guess it is at least one of the reasons why we do.

It's been a while since I've talked about my cats here. We're down to two now, Libby, a.k.a. "The Phantom," and Mindy, a.k.a. "I'm Not Fat, I'm Just Fluffy." This is a celebration of some of the great patriots in American history, of the words and ideas they used to change the world forever. I get to sit with the likes of Thomas Jefferson, George Washington and Benjamin Franklin. I'll sing about riding my pony in the Oklahoma hills, and I'll sing about how this land was made for you and me.
